By putting its website online, the National Environment Council for Sustainable Development intends to revitalize communication bridges with the general public, in order to achieve better visibility of progress in environmental management in our country. This initiative will undoubtedly highlight the Government's interest in environmental concerns and their integration into all sectoral policies.

Faced with the observations, on the rapid and inevitable changes that our environment is experiencing at the beginning of the 21st century, the communicational dimension constitutes one of the main pillars for the mobilization of peoples in order to face the major challenges of climate change, desertification, desertification, loss of biological diversity and other natural disasters that increasingly threaten our daily lives.
